Mags, I well remember the Paps of Jura. We used to see them from the other side, from the Island of Colonsay. So we never got that sunset view!! What lovely photos and looking forward to the new ones....

I love the way the setting sun teeters on the mountaintop...and how its hazy rays just seem to be floating, suspended.

"The world falls asleep in a warm light." - Charles Baudelaire.

This is so languid...so lazy and dreamy. Everything awash with gold...such peace. I love this photograph.

Margaret, you truly "see" landscapes. Your photos show that tremendously. I so enjoy taking my time to view them, one at a time, and listening for what they say to me. And I think that's the gift (one of them, anyway) of artistic expression: it speaks different things to each of us.
