Gathering Storm

Another moody picture. This was taken at Connel Bridge, north of Oban, looking out over Ardmucknish Bay. You can just see snow on the distant mountains.

I just love this picture, Mags..it IS moody, but so inviting. Makes me want to sit on one of those boats and ride out the impending storm.

This one looks like a painting, especially the reflection.

Oh, Margaret, this is so lovely...so evocative! I've come to associate reflections with your photographs. This is a perfect example of why.

When I view this enlarged, the snow-covered peaks in the distance have more of a voice in this picture. They strike me as stoic sentinels looking down upon the bay. You're right, this picture is full of mood: I feel like I could fall right into it and disappear into the scenery.
