Caerketton

Caerketton is first in the Pentland Hills range, on Edinburgh's doorstep. This hill says home to me. It can be seen from many places in and around my town; its image is firmly fixed in my inner eye.

Again, spring yellow everywhere! I just love it!

Caerketton sure has a presence all its own. Some hills have such history to them. Where my brother and SIL used to live in Massachusettes, the highest hill in town was where a lot of criminal punishments were carried out "back in the day". Right here in Atlanta, Kennesaw Mountain (really more like an overgrown hill) was the site of some major Civil War events.

Caerketton looks quite peaceful, though. It sounds as if you've got a soul connection to it...since it speaks "home" to you as it does, you must. :) Beautiful picture.
